Recently we've seen several disappointed customers posting comments about Gift of the Month Clubs they either gave or received over the Christmas holidays. Unfortunately, they were not satisfied with the quality of the gifts.
So we decided to take a closer look at what "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed" means to some of the more popular Gift Club Companies. Here's what we found...
Clubs Who Offer Refunds
Harry and David - known for their delicious Fruit of the Month Clubs and high quality gift baskets - claims to have "The Strongest Guarantee in the Business" - and we have to agree! Harry and David's policy is:
"You and those who receive your gifts must be delighted, or we'll make it right with either an appropriate replacement or a full refund - whichever you prefer."
The Fruit Company also backs up their Fruit of the Month Club with a refund...
If you or your gift recipient are not completely satisfied with your gift, we’ll replace it, exchange it, or offer a full credit or refund within 30 days of delivery date. We want you to be happy with your order!
Clubs Who Will Cancel Remaining Membership, But Do Not Refund For Items That Have Already Shipped
Amazing Clubs policy is:
"Because we believe so strongly in satisfying you, our customer, we offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee on all of our monthly clubs. It’s simple, really. If you’re ever unhappy with our service, call or email us and we’ll do everything we can to make you happy. Clubs of America's return policy is a bit more loosely defined, but they have been around for many years:
"Problems are rare, but if an issue should come up, please know that we will make it right for you."
Month Club Store:
"Should you wish to cancel, a prorated amount will be refunded to you for the unused portion of your original purchase. "
Conclusions
